DAVIS COUNTY, Utah – According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, a lady died and a kid was hospitalized after a vehicle pursuit ended in a rollover incident in Davis County on Sunday, with two persons ejected.
On September 29, Utah Highway Patrol troopers intercepted an “attempt to locate” a car moving at high speed from Salt Lake County to Davis County.
Troopers pursued the car on I-15, but he did not stop and instead exited at milepost 332. When the driver exited, troopers reportedly stopped pursuing.
According to authorities, after entering the off-ramp, the vehicle crashed and rolled, ejecting the two people inside.
The female driver was pronounced dead at the spot. Troopers saved a child’s life before medical personnel arrived.
The child’s condition has not been disclosed at this time.
