Weeklong Weather Outlook for Kansas: Breezy Conditions, Foggy Mornings, and a Cold Trend

Patchy fog is expected to form this morning in south-central Kansas, potentially restricting visibility for early commuters. Forecasters anticipate the mist will clear by late morning, revealing a largely bright sky and warm temperatures of 58 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, winds from the south will reach 10 to 14 mph, with gusts up to 24 mph, adding to the breezy conditions. Drivers on I-35 and surrounding roadways should use caution in the early hours owing to low visibility in some spots.

Tonight, temperatures will fall into the upper 30s under a partly overcast sky, with winds shifting to a lighter southwest flow.

On Monday, cloud cover will decrease, with bright skies returning by the afternoon. High temperatures are predicted to reach 53 degrees, but strong north winds up to 20 mph may provide a chill.

Looking forward, the cold trend will continue into midweek. Tuesday and Wednesday will see highs in the mid-40s, with mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will remain in the 20s and 30s, necessitating thicker coats for the evening commute.

No severe weather is expected through Saturday, although forecasters warn of patchy fog on several mornings. By the end of the week, highs will reach the low 50s, making for a lovely weekend. Keep track of shifting weather conditions and monitor visibility during early drives.
