An accident that resulted in numerous fatalities and involved multiple automobiles has resulted in the junction of 71st and Yale.
The Tulsa Police Department reports that the collision involved at least two automobiles participating in the collision. Multiple injuries and at least one fatality have been reported by the department; the incident occurred at the scene.
When they collided at the crossroads, the police stated that one vehicle was traveling in a southerly direction and the other was traveling in a westerly direction.
As a result of the collision, two individuals who were standing in the median at the intersection were struck by the vehicles.
East 71st Avenue at South Yale Avenue was restricted to traffic in the westbound direction by the police.
