On Wednesday, the Indiana State Police issued a press statement announcing that a Florida truck driver had been found guilty of killing his trucking co-driver and leaving his body on Interstate 65 in White County.
Miguel Ibarguren, 44, a resident of Miami, Florida, was found guilty of the murder of Aristide Garcia, 63, a resident of Los Angeles, California, by a jury in White County on Tuesday.
There was a cleaning crew that discovered Garcia’s body in a ditch close to the 187.5-mile marker of Interstate 65 in White County on March 8, 2022. Garcia’s body was discovered. On the south side of State Road 18, that is located.
His business, a trucking company with headquarters in Cedar Points, Iowa, made the reporting of Garcia’s disappearance. Garcia’s co-driver, Ibarguren, was taken into custody on March 15, 2022, in Arlington, Texas, after investigators identified him as a suspect in the traffic accident.
Following his incarceration in Texas, Ibarguren was eventually extradited to Indiana, where he proceeded to be found guilty.
November is the month that the sentencing is held. On that occasion, additional information will be made available.
