We are following many developments this week, beginning with First Alerts on Tuesday due to strong southerly winds.
Southerly winds may gust up to 40 mph, bringing in extra moisture while increasing humidity and cloud coverage.
A scattered shower is possible, but the majority of us will stay dry.
Temperatures will stay much above normal in the mid-80s.
Another First Alert is in effect for Wednesday due to the danger of thunderstorms.
Scattered showers are expected throughout the day Wednesday, but a cold front will approach overnight, bringing a line of rain and storms.
While widespread severe weather is not predicted, an isolated strong to severe storm with quarter-size hail and wind gusts of up to 60 mph is likely.
Areas along and north of I-20 are at level 2, indicating a minor risk. Halloween will be much cooler and breezy, with highs in the lower 70s, although temps in the upper 60s will allow us to dry up in time for trick or treating.
Our unsettled pattern continues into the weekend, with additional showers and storms expected.
We are informing you of probable interruptions to any outdoor plans for Saturday and Sunday.
Keep your rain gear handy!
