Weekend Weather Update: Light Snow and Flurries to Blanket North Country With Minor Impact

After a sunny but chilly day on Friday, we have some light snow showers or flurries moving into the North Country.

This wave of snow is projected to have little to no impact or accumulation, and except for a few remaining morning flakes, we’ll be dry by Saturday under mostly cloudy skies.

Temperatures rise to the upper 20’s and lower 30’s, but the winds are much calmer, so wind chills only reach the teens and lower 20’s.

Light snow will blanket the region after sundown Saturday and linger into early Sunday, before turning to a mix of precipitation and even rain just before the day ends Sunday afternoon.

The broad valleys should expect a dusting to 4 inches, while the Northeast Kingdom, Adirondacks, and spine of the Green Mountains experience 4-8 inches.

Have a great weekend!
