The Waskom Wildcats took care of the Queen City Bulldogs 44-2 Friday night at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats tallied 353 total yards to the Bulldogs’ 137. Queen City and the Wildcats had 13 first downs apiece.
The bulk of the Wildcats’ yards came on the ground with 335 rushing yards on 35 carries. Queen City had 40 on 26 carries by comparison. However, the Bulldogs produced 14-of-27 for 97 yards passing. The Wildcats completed one pass on seven attempts for 18 yards. Both Queen City and the Wildcats had two interceptions in the passing game. Both sides also had two fumbles, both lost, apiece.
Queen City punted four times for 192 yards. The Wildcats had six penalties for 65 yards while Queen City had three for 30.
Queen City is 0-9 on the season with an 0-6 record in district play. The Bulldogs finish up their season next Friday versus Paul Pewitt at Smith-Wall Stadium.
The Wildcats are 4-5 overall with a 3-3 record in district play. The Wildcats finish up their season at Ore City next Friday.
