Two persons were killed and a third badly injured in a crash in Lafourche Parish on Thursday night, November 28.
According to the Louisiana State Police, troopers from Troop C began investigating the incident, which occurred soon before 9 p.m. on Louisiana Highway 1 at the intersection with Louisiana Highway 3185.
According to the preliminary investigation, 19-year-old Trent Truxillo of Houma was driving south at high speeds on Louisiana Highway 1 in a 2015 Nissan Altima, while 44-year-old Johnnie Bennett Jr. of Thibodaux was driving east on Louisiana Highway 3185 and approaching the intersection in a 2018 Cadillac XTS.
