
QUEEN CITY — The Daingerfield Tigers mauled the Queen City Bulldogs 62-0 Friday night at Smith-Wall Stadium.
The Tigers out-gained the Bulldogs 570 yards to 122, producing 13 first downs to the home side’s seven. Daingerfield punted once for 38 yards, while Queen City punted four times for 41.
The Bulldogs had three fumbles, two of which they lost, along with three interceptions. Daingerfield committed just one turnover with an interception.
Queen City’s ground game lost five yards on 24 carries, and the air attack produced 127 yards going 11-of-35. The Tigers churned 264 yards on 29 carries and went 14-of-24 for 306 and three touchdowns.
Queen City falls to 0-7 with an 0-4 record in district play. They will go on the road next Friday night to take on Ore City.
Daingerfield improves to 5-3 with a 3-1 record in district play. Daingerfield goes home to host the Waskom Wildcats next Friday night.
