Three Honduran Immigrants Arrested in Florida for Sexual Crimes Against Children, Held Without Bond

A trio of illegal immigrants were arrested in a rich Florida county last week for sexual offenses against children, according to authorities.

On Friday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office detained three suspected illegal immigrants from Honduras.

On Monday, the sheriff’s office identified the three suspects as Selvin Lopez Lopez, Erick Lopez Lopez, and Jesersson Lopez Lopez. The sheriff’s office did not confirm whether they are related.

The Lopez Lopez trio was arrested for “numerous counts of lewd lascivious behavior,” which is a capital sexual battery on a juvenile under the age of 12, according to the sheriff’s office.

According to authorities, the “despicable behavior” began in August 2024 and continued until their arrest this week.

Investigators determined that Selvin and Erick Lopez Lopez unlawfully entered the United States in 2021 and surrendered to the Border Patrol. They were instructed to schedule a court appearance but did not do so, according to the sheriff’s office.

Jesersson allegedly crossed the border unlawfully in 2023 and was assigned a court date in 2028.

The three Lopez Lopezs are now being held in the Palm Beach County Jail without bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
