Texas State Representative Chris Paddie will speak to the Atlanta Area Rotary Club at 12 noon on October 3rd. The club meets at Luigi’s Italian restaurant, 210 N. East Street in Atlanta. Visitors are welcome to attend.
The Texas Library Association plans to present Paddie with a resolution honoring his support of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission during the recent Sunset Review. Paddie will also give a legislative update.
Born in Center and raised in Carthage, Chris Paddie’s East Texas roots run deep. That upbringing instilled in him the values of faith, personal responsibility, and hard work.
Chris married his high-school sweetheart, Brooke Hanszen, and when the time came to start their family – they moved back home to East Texas to instill the same rural, conservative values that molded them into who they are today.
A lifelong conservative, Chris was elected our Republican State Representative. For his work in recent legislative sessions, Chris was honored as a “Courageous Conservative” by the Texas Conservative Coalition and as a “Lone Star Conservative Leader” by the Texas Conservative Roundtable. He was also named as a “Champion of Free Enterprise” by the Texas Association of Business and one of the “Best in the House” by the Combined Law Enforcement Agencies of Texas. Most recently, Chris was named an “Effective Conservative” by the Conservative Roundtable of Texas.
