SURPRISE, Ariz. — The Rangers produced their highest run total of the spring on Wednesday, defeating the San Francisco Giants by a 12-5 score at Surprise Stadium. Ten different Texas batters combined to record the club’s 12 hits, 5 of which came with runners in scoring position. Rougned Odor homered for the 3rd straight game, putting Texas on the board in the opening frame with a 2-run blast to left field. Odor is 4-for-9 with 5 RBI in his last 3 games. Carlos Tocci, who entered the game as a reserve, finished 2-for-2 with 5 RBI, blasting a 3-run home run into the left-field bullpen in the 6th before adding a 2-run double in the next inning. Tocci is 7-for-16 over his last 9 games and leads the Rangers with 7 RBI.
