Rabbits outscore De Kalb 7-5 at Rabbit Field

Atlanta Rabbits Baseball jumped out to an early lead over DeKalb and took home a 7-5 victory on Friday at Rabbit Field in Atlanta City Park Saturday. The game was moved to Atlanta because of field conditions from the rain in De Kalb.

Atlanta Rabbits Baseball scored on a single by Corbin Farmer, a single by Cooper Swanson and a double by Peyton Harrison in the second inning.

The Rabbits Baseball pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Farmer singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Swanson singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and Harrison doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Eli Dryden was the winning pitcher for Atlanta

Eli Dryden was the winning pitcher for Atlanta Rabbits Baseball. Dryden went three and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out five. Stevens threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jaylen White took the loss for DeKalb. White lasted three and a third innings, allowing nine hits and seven runs while striking out one and walking one.

Peyton Harrison started the game for Atlanta Rabbits Baseball. The southpaw went one and one-third innings, allowing three runs on one hit and striking out one.

Harrison went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Atlanta Rabbits Baseball in hits.

DeKalb collected six hits on the day. Clark and White all collected multiple hits for DeKalb.
