
The Queen City Bulldogs got their first win of the season as they tamed the Linden-Kildare Tigers 32-28 Friday night at Jack Hetherington Tiger Stadium.
The Bulldogs managed to produce 156 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Jeremiah Drayton had 110 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. Drayton also had three catches for 22 yards. Delvon Federick had six carries for 50 yards a touchdown.
Clint Wiley went 10-of-20 for 131 yards and a touchdown with an interception.
Rylee Green was the Bulldogs’ leading receiver with three catches for 50 yards and a touchdown. Brayden Wiley had two catches for 36 yards.
Queen City lost a fumble, had two turnovers on downs, a safety, an interception for five total turnovers. They also had 10 penalties for 74 yards.
Linden-Kildare produced 227 rushing yards on 31 carries.
Jay Birmingham had 14 carries for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Jonatham Owen adds six carries for 49 yards. Owen also went 4-of-11 passing for 34 yards and an interception. Rolie Patterson chipped in three carries for 44 yards.
Tae’Shun Mitchell lead L-K receiving on two catches for 31 yards.
The Tigers lost both of their fumbles, had an interception, had two turnover on downs, for five total turnovers.
The Tigers also had seven penalties for 32 yards.
