On Tuesday afternoon, one individual died in a three-car accident on US-77 in west central Junction City.
Just before 5 p.m., a 2021 Subaru Outback heading northbound around milepost 154 jumped the center line and collided with a 2009 Infiniti G37.
The Infiniti, driven by Kaleb Jones-Bransford, 21, of Poca City, Oklahoma, collided with a guardrail and came to rest in the West ditch.
Meanwhile, the Subaru kept going, crossing the center lane again and colliding with a 2019 Ford Fusion. The Fusion came to a stop in the West ditch, while the Outback came to a halt in the northbound lane.
The driver of the Subaru, April Kulczyk, 45, of Junction City, was transported to Stormont Vail in Topeka with a potentially significant injury.
Bradley Linton, 56, of Enterprise, was pronounced dead shortly before 7 p.m. and transferred to Johnson Funeral Home, where his next of kin was notified. The KHP Crash Log shows that everyone was securely strapped during the collision.
