One Dead, One Injured in Three-vehicle Crash on U.S. 29 in Escambia County, Florida

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one man was killed and one lady was injured this afternoon in a three-vehicle incident in Escambia County.

The accident occurred around 4:09 p.m. on U.S. 29 (State Road 95) and Tate School Road.

According to the FHP, a 20-year-old Cantonment, Fla., male was driving a motorcycle north on U.S. 29 when it collided with an SUV driven by a 72-year-old Cantonment woman who was crossing the highway westbound.

The SUV then collided with a sedan that was at a stop sign facing west on Tate School Road.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the SUV’s driver was seriously injured, according to troopers.

The driver of the sedan, a 59-year-old lady from Molino, Fla., was unhurt, according to the FHP.
