COLLEGE STATION — The No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies out-hit the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders 10-4 to gain a 12-2 victory Tuesday afternoon at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.

“I’m very proud of our guys,” said Aggies coach Rob Childress. “They came out and prepared the right way and then when the bell rang, it was the most complete game that we’ve played this year in every area. I’m really glad we started this new week off the right way.”

Cam Blake went 2-of-4 with a run, a double, and three RBI. Mikey Hoehner went 2-of-4 as well with a run, a double, and two RBI. Braden Shewmake managed to drive in four runs with two sacrifice fly balls and a two-run single.
