TCU opened the scoring in the second on a Gray Rodgers base knock for a 1-0 lead.

Santa Clara loaded the bases with one out in the fourth. Back-to-back singles had the Broncos in front 3-1.

The Horned Frogs quickly responded in the bottom of the inning, tying the game at three. Porter Brown worked a bases-loaded walk and an Elijah Nunez ground out brought home the tying run.

After Santa Clara retook the lead on a sacrifice fly in the sixth, TCU again had an answer in the next half inning. The Frogs sent 10 hitters to the plate and scored four times. A Nunez base hit tied the game and a bases-loaded walk to Brayden Taylor put the Frogs in front to stay. David Bishop grounded out and Kurtis Byrne worked another bases-loaded walk to extend the lead to three, 7-4.

The Broncos picked up solo runs in the eighth and ninth to account for the final score.

Cam Brown started and allowed three runs on two hits in 3 1/3 innings. He walked three and fanned two. Brett Walker (5-2) picked up the win in relief. He allowed two runs on five hits, walked one and struck out four. Luke Savage surrendered a run on one hit in two innings for the save.
