According to the Charleston office of the National Weather Service, high pressure will continue to prevail through Monday, resulting in bright skies and moderate temperatures.
Tonight, temperatures in inland areas will drop into the mid-30s and 40s. Low temperatures along the coast will range from the 40s to the 50s.
When a cold front moves in on Tuesday night, it will bring cooler air, but it is highly doubtful that it will rain. The forecast calls for no precipitation.
A second cold front is expected to move through by Thursday, bringing with it lower temperatures and isolated showers from time to time.
There is a possibility that temperatures could be close to freezing away from the coast on Friday night, and it is anticipated that the weather will remain frigid over the weekend.
Keep yourself warm and bundled up in preparation for the impending cold blast!
