Lindale knocks off Atlanta 5-2


LINDALE, Texas — The Lindale Eagles soared past the Atlanta Rabbits 5-2 Tuesday evening.

Aaron Wolfe picked up the win for the Eagles as he went 4.1 innings, gave up two hits, two runs, two walks, a hit-by-pitch, and struck out four.

Luke Poe went 1.2 innings with a walk and a strikeout. Ryan Betts went 1.0 inning with a strikeout.

Dylan Spears was tagged with the loss for the Rabbs. Spears went 1.1 innings and gave up two hits, three runs, four walks, and two strikeouts.

Nick Burden went 1.2 innings, giving up a hit, walk, two hits-by-pitch, and produced a strikeout. Peyton Harrison went 1.0 inning with a hit, two runs, a walk, and two hits-by-pitch surrendered.

Cooper McClure went 1-4 with a double for Atlanta. Harrison was 1-3 for the Rabbs.

Wolfe was 0-2 at the plate with two runs scored. Cagen Piccoli was 1-1 at the plate with a run scored and an RBI. Miles Keith was 2-3 with two runs.

Atlanta falls to 6-9-3 on the season with a 3-3 mark in district play. The Rabbs get back in action with the back half of their district slate against Paul Pewitt at home on Friday.
