
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Quentin Grimes scored 14 points to help Houston beat Syracuse 62-46 in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Justin Gotham added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the second-seeded Cougars, who reached their first regional final in 37 years. They’ll face Oregon State for the Midwest Region title and a trip to the Final Four. The Cougars also got a strong all-around effort from DeJon Jarreau, who flirted with a triple-double and led the defensive effort on Buddy Boeheim. Boeheim finished with 12 points after averaging 28 in his past four games for 11th-seeded Syracuse.
