Houston Homeowner Shoots Neighbor Who Forced Entry and Threatened Murder

A man shot his neighbor in west Houston early Tuesday morning after the neighbor allegedly forced his way into the guy’s home and threatened to murder him.

This occurred shortly after midnight on Eldridge Parkway, north of Westheimer Road.

According to the Houston Police Department, the neighbor, a young male, was drunk and knocked on the other man’s door, accusing him of calling the cops on him. HPD claimed the charges were false.

At some time, the young man forced his way inside the house and threatened to kill the other man.

That’s when the shooter opened fire, striking the man twice. The individual who was shot was transferred to an area hospital and is expected to recover. He’s also anticipated to face charges. The shooter’s case will be presented to a grand jury to evaluate whether charges are warranted.
