TCU Horned Frog Austin Henry picked up the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week award for his efforts last week during the school’s four games.
The junior’s honor is the first of his career and the second for the Frogs in 2019. Porter Brown earned the same honor on Feb. 18.
Henry went 8-of-16 through four games last week and helped TCU to a 3-1 record. The junior is currently on a five-game RBI streak. Six of his nine RBI last week came in two-out situations. For the season, Henry is .315 with a team-high 24 RBI.
