TATUM, Texas — The Hawkins Hawks took care of the Linden-Kildare Tigers 14-4 in game three of the area playoffs.
The winning pitcher was Bryce Burns for the Hawks, who went 6.0 innings, giving up six hits, four runs, two walks, and striking out six. Paeton Smith went 3-of-5 with three runs. Zach Conde went 3-of-4 with three runs, three RBI, a stolen base, and a BB. Jeramy Torres went 1-of-2 with 4 RBI and a run.
The losing pitcher was Jonathan Owen, who went 2-plus innings for the Tigers, allowing four hits, five runs, striking out one, and producing three walks and two hit-by-pitches. Colton Anderson led the way going 2-of-3 with a run and an RBI. Colton Neville went 1-of-2 with two RBI.
