Frigid Friday Kicks Off a Sunny Weekend in Texas – Mild Temps and Clear Skies Expected

Friday morning was quite frigid! It was one of the coldest days since February 18th. Throughout the weekend, the days will begin cold but warm up slightly. Continue to take measures while bringing sensitive plants and pets indoors!

Saturday afternoon will be sunny, with temperatures rising into the 60s and breezes from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. If you intend to tailgate for the Texas vs. Texas A&M game, it’ll be a fantastic day in DFW and College Station!

There should be no problems traveling across the Lone Star State this weekend. Temperatures will remain around average, and the weather will be clear.

Changes to the forecast are predicted by midweek. A wet airmass will flow into North Texas, increasing the possibility of rain by Wednesday.

Until then, enjoy your weekend, and keep tuned for the most recent weather updates!
