According to the National Weather Service, a cold front is moving across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, bringing freezing temperatures tonight.
Most interior areas are under a freeze warning, with some areas, particularly in southeast Georgia, potentially experiencing temperatures in the mid-20s.
The cold spell is forecast to continue between 8 and 11 hours in some portions of the Suwannee Valley.
Temperatures will stay cool through Saturday, with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s with the possibility of another freeze overnight in inland southeast Georgia.
On Sunday, temperatures will rise slightly before returning to near-normal levels by the afternoon.
