TEXARKANA — The El Dorado Wildcats knocked off the Atlanta Rabbits 10-3 at Texas High in the Border Battle tournament.
Landon Rainwater was the winning pitcher for the Wildcats. Will Woodruff gets saddled with the loss for the Rabbs.
Kale Carpenter led the way for Atlanta going 1-3 with two runs. Cooper McClure added a run along with 1-3 at the plate.
For El Dorado, Hunter Lawrence went 1-1 with two runs. Ashton Yarbrough was 1-1 with two RBI. Holden Lowery was 1-2 with two runs and two RBI.
The Rabbs’ pitching staff combined for four innings, giving up eight hits, 10 runs, six walks, three hit-by-pitches, and striking out three.
El Dorado’s bullpen went five innings, gave up five hits, three runs, three walks, and struck out seven.
