McLeod Longhorns pitcher Kannon Dempsey threw a complet 7-inning no hitter and the McLeod Longhorns defeated the Linden-Kildare Tigers Friday at McLeod 7-1.
Dempsey struck out 5 and walked one. Dempsey also had a big night at the plate going 1-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI.
Brennan Penny was 2-for-3 with a double and run scored for the horns. McLeod’s Kason Cook was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Brayden Bascombe was 1-for-2 with a run scored for McLeod.
