Conde leads Hawkins past Linden-Kildare in area playoff



TATUM, Texas – Zach Conde was dominant on the mound and at the plate  for five innings Thursday in leading Hawkins past Linden-Kildare in the Class A area round, 12-2.

The Hawks’ pitcher allowed four hits in his five innings of work, walking one and striking out 11. Trey Phillips suffered the loss for the Tigers.


Conde led Hawks with three hits

Kyler Fitts doubled for Linden-Kildare and scored a run. Mason Johnson added a run-scoring single.

Conde led the Hawks with three hits, three runs and three RBIs. Dristun Pruitt had two hits, scoring three runs and driving in one. Paeton Smith also had two hits and scored twice.
