The City of Atlanta, Tx., is asking water customers to temporarily discontinue outdoor watering of lawns and planting beds, Atlanta City Manager David Cockrell said.
“The water plant is unable to provide the volume of water necessary to support water, particularly in light of the extreme heat,” Mr Cockrell said. “Cooperation from our customers is appreciated”
Mr. Cockrell said that any other conservation measures are appreciated as well.
