Authorities in Chicago are investigating after a witness reported finding a box containing human remains on a sidewalk on the city’s Near West Side.
Chicago police said the box was discovered on the 2600 block of West Taylor Street in the city’s Tri-Taylor neighborhood.
Officers claimed a witness contacted police just before 6 p.m. and reported seeing a box containing the remains of an unknown victim.
Currently, it is unknown what caused the victim’s death, and an investigation is underway.
