TINICUM TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Police in Delaware County are investigating a terrible crash in Tinicum Township that killed one person and injured another following a police chase.
The incident occurred near Industrial Avenue and Wanamaker, just south of Philadelphia International Airport, around 5 p.m. Thursday.
Police were on the hunt for a person driving a stolen automobile. That person crashed and died as a result of their injuries.
A person in another vehicle was injured, but there are no further specifics about their condition.
In southern Delaware County, police officers and firefighters from various departments responded. Haverford Township officers were also there, conducting accident reconstruction.
Police have not revealed any additional information about what led to the chase.
