Tragic Collision in West Palm Beach: Woman Dies After Ignoring Red Light, Hitting Costco Truck

In a collision that occurred on Tuesday evening in West Palm Beach, a motorist who was 33 years old was murdered when his vehicle collided with a truck belonging to Costco Wholesale.

Approximately 11:27 p.m. was the time when the deadly collision took place at the intersection of Okeechobee Boulevard and North Jog Road.

At the same time that the driver of the Costco truck was heading southbound on North Jog Road and approaching Okeechobee Boulevard, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that a woman driving a Buick Verano was headed westbound on Okeechobee Boulevard and approaching Jog Road.

As the woman driving the Buick failed to stop at a red light and collided with the passenger side of the trailer that was attached to the Costco truck, the PBSO stated that the driver of the Costco truck had the right of way as he crossed the intersection.

At the scene, the woman was pronounced dead.

Regarding the condition of the Costco truck driver, there is no word.
