Multi-vehicle Crash Shuts Down Northbound I-65 in Jackson County for 4 Hours

All northbound lanes of I-65 were closed near the 46-mile marker in Jackson County, between Crothersville and Seymour, at roughly 9 p.m. on Monday due to a multi-vehicle incident.

According to Indiana State Police (ISP), a trailer spilled multiple engines and transmissions over the northbound lanes during the crash.

At the 41-mile sign, traffic was routed to State Road 250W, which subsequently led to U.S. 31.

It took Indiana State Police officers and other staff roughly 4 hours to clean up the mess. The northbound I-65 lanes were reopened around 1 a.m.
