One Ui 6 Watch Update Rolling Out for Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Classic Models in the U.S.

The much-anticipated One UI 6 Watch upgrade is gradually making its way to older Samsung Galaxy Watch devices. Users on Reddit reported that updates for One UI 6 Watch became available for their Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic smartphones today in the United States. The distribution follows Samsung’s announcement last week of the One UI 6 Watch release timetable, which is built on Wear OS 5.

One UI 6 Watch appeared on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra earlier this year, and it includes a few Samsung Health features powered by Galaxy AI. They include Energy Score, which is comparable to Garmin’s Body Battery metric, and Sleep Analysis.

Furthermore, the Race and Workout Routine will assist athletes in training for their next big event, as well as in meeting personal goals. These and other capabilities will soon be available on a plethora of older Galaxy Watch models.

The One UI 6 Watch update may come in a variety of build numbers, including R965USQU1BXJ5 and R965UOYM1BXJ5. It’s roughly two gigabytes in size, and some customers complain that the update takes hours to install on their Galaxy Watch 6 or Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The specific specs and distribution timeline will vary depending on your device model and whether you own the GPS or GPS + LTE versions of the Galaxy Watch.

Samsung advises that the bundled Galaxy AI functions are only guaranteed to be free until the end of 2025. Following that, their future remains uncertain. The concept of Samsung providing a subscription for Galaxy AI and/or Samsung Health features has been mentioned, but nothing is firm at this time.

Currently, the One UI 6 Watch update is only available for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Eventually, One UI 6 Watch will be available for the Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and Galaxy Watch FE.
