Pensacola Storefront Hit by Car, Temporarily Closing Until Declared Safe to Reopen

Over the weekend, a car smashed into a Pensacola company, forcing it to temporarily close.

According to Pensacola police, a car smashed into Camellia Grab-n-Go on West Garden Street around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday.

According to police, the motorist was heading westbound on Garden Street when they collided with another vehicle and proceeded until they hit the structure.

There were no injuries.

According to the business owner, Steve Stein, an expert will analyze any structural damage to the property. When it is judged safe, the company will reopen.

“I was relieved it wasn’t worse, and I was happy no one got hurt,” Stein explained. “Nobody was wounded. No one was present at the moment, and the driver walked away, so things could have been much worse.

No criminal charges were filed.
