A California man was arrested on Saturday morning for reportedly stabbing two individuals and assaulting two others.
Efrain Troncoso, 22, was detained on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and attempted car theft, according to Ventura police.
The first incident occurred shortly after 7 a.m., near Ash Street and Thompson Boulevard, when a victim reported being stabbed in the back by a man riding a bicycle.
While the police were dealing with that individual, a woman called 911 to say that a man stabbed her in the neck while she was going down Chestnut Street.
A few minutes later, another man stated that a suspect had struck him in the head with a metal pipe and robbed him.
As police were searching for the suspect, another victim called 911 to report that a man had robbed him at knifepoint and taken his car keys.
All four attacks occurred in less than 30 minutes and within five blocks of one another.
Troncoso was apprehended by police after being found inside a car he had broken into while attempting to start it using stolen keys.
Troncoso had been detained multiple times in Moorpark, most recently last week for alleged arson and resisting arrest, after which he was freed on November 12, according to police. He has also been arrested before for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
