In the Mobile area, the change to milder weather is currently taking place, and the region is bracing itself for additional warmth and wetness through Tuesday.
There is a possibility of showers on Monday, particularly along the coast of Alabama and in northwest Florida, as a result of the presence of southerly winds and a weak shortwave that is moving in from the opposite direction.
There is also a possibility that there will be patches of fog tonight, which may become intense in inland locations. On Monday, temperatures are expected to increase into the middle to high 70s.
Additionally, a cold front is expected to arrive late Monday night and continue into Tuesday, bringing with it scattered rain showers and cooler conditions.
Temperatures will drop into the 40s inland by Tuesday night, but they will begin to rise into the 50s in the I-10 corridor.
