According to a North Carolina State Highway Patrol news release, a lady was killed in a multi-vehicle incident in Yadkin County on Monday.
Around 8:22 a.m., troopers responded to and investigated a tragic incident involving three cars on NC 67 near East Bend Road in Yadkin County.
A 2003 Honda CRV crossed the centerline on NC 67 and collided with a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup. The Ram then turned around on the road and collided with a 2007 Toyota Avalon.
It was verified that the CRV driver’s physical condition caused her to cross left of center and collide with the Ram head-on.

The drivers of the Ram and Avalon were brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
NC 67 was shut down for approximately one hour.
