NORTH TEXAS – Mother Nature showed up Wednesday morning with a stunning sunrise over North Texas.
On Wednesday, expect the sun to shine brightly, with pleasant afternoon temperatures. Temperatures were cool to begin the day, dropping into the low 40s for some.
Some morning low temperatures were 10 to 20 degrees lower than the same period yesterday. With drier air overhead, North Texans will enjoy magnificent sunlight and temps reaching the low 70s by late afternoon.
Looking ahead, CBS News Texas meteorologists have declared a First Alert Weather Day on Friday in anticipation of significant rain.
This suggests that rain is possible during Friday’s night lighting.
A cold front and surface low will approach North Texas on Thursday and Friday, bringing rain to most of Dallas-Fort Worth into the early hours of Saturday.
After the front passes through, there will be a great weekend ahead, so plan to get outside and enjoy it.
