On Monday morning, seven people were sent to the hospital after a collision involving four vehicles occurred in Northridge. The collision resulted in one vehicle being flipped over in the middle of the street.
It was just before midnight when the collision was alleged to have occurred on Dearborn Street close to Northridge Fashion Center.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reports that there were nine people involved in the incident, seven of whom were involved in injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening and were brought to a hospital.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the remaining two both rejected to be transported to a medical facility.
A mother and a child were seen being placed into an ambulance while being transported on a gurney by AIR7, which was flying above the scene as the inquiry was beginning to unfold. It did not appear that they had sustained any major injuries. Not only did one vehicle flip over, but another vehicle collided with a tree.
The cause of the collision is not entirely understood. While the inquiry is still ongoing, Dearborn Street will continue to be closed.
