
In a harrowing incident that unfolded earlier today, the Nash Police Department say they responded to a distress call where an armed individual had barricaded themselves inside a residence. Tragically, witnesses at the scene informed officers that multiple lives had already been claimed within the home.
The Nash Police Department swiftly mobilized its forces, joined by a collaborative effort from various law enforcement agencies including the Bowie County Sheriff’s Department, Texas Rangers, Department of Public Safety, Wake Village Police Department, Texarkana Independent School District Police Department, Texarkana, Texas Police Department, and the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department.
A negotiator from the Bowie County Sheriff’s Department established contact with the barricaded individual, who police identified as 18-year-old Ceasar Olalde. Through careful negotiation, the suspect was successfully convinced to surrender to law enforcement authorities. Following Olalde’s surrender, officers entered the residence and made a grim discovery – four deceased individuals were found within, according to a press release.
According to authorities, Ceasar Olalde has since been taken into custody and has been booked into the Bi-State Jail in Texarkana, Texas, on charges of Capital Murder of Multiple Persons. The investigation into this horrific incident remains ongoing, with law enforcement agencies working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
