COPPELL, Texas (AP) — Retail gasoline prices across Texas declined 3 cents per gallon this week as nationwide prices held steady.
AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price at the pump statewide was an average $2.23 per gallon. Drivers across the country are paying an average $2.46 per gallon.
The association survey found San Antonio has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at an average $2.14 per gallon. El Paso has the most expensive gasoline statewide at an average $2.35 per gallon.
Gas in Texarkana, Texas today was as low as 2.07 per gallon
Fox Sports Radio 1400 found gas as low as $2.07 per gallon at 2 different locations in Texarkana, Texas. Sam’s Club at 3610 St. Michael Drive and Super 1 Foods at 2610 Richmond Road in Texarkana, Texas.
Gas in Atlanta, Texas today was as low as $2.25 per gallon, 2 cents higher than the state average
Atlanta, Texas gas prices were higher than the state average this morning. The lowest price per gallon in Atlanta this morning was $2.25 per gallon at the Murphy USA at 205 Loop 59. Gas is 2 cents lower in Queen City than Atlanta. Three service stations in Queen City, Texas had gas at $2.23 this morning, the state average. Exxon on Loop 59, EZ Mart on Loop 59 and Shell on Loop 59 in Queen City were all at $2.23 per gallon.
AAA Texas officials say gasoline prices have been falling in most markets as recovery continues from Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall Aug. 25 in South Texas.
