Volunteers picked up 52 bags of trash on the side of Texas highways in Cass and Bowie Counties from Jan. 27-28.
Eight volunteers from Texarkana College — six in the Criminal Justice Organization and two in the Student Government Association — picked up 20 bags of trash alongside Farm-to-Market 989 north of Interstate 30 in Bowie County.
10 volunteers from St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church spent three hours gathered 32 bags of litter alongside State Highway 77 east of Atlanta On Jan. 28.
