Leona
Beatrice Godwin
“Granny”
Sorrow fills the hearts of the Godwin family and friends
as Beatrice Godwin of Bivins, Texas, passes away at age
86. During her life, she was known by many names: Bea,
Daughter, Sister, Friend, Red, Wife, Mom, but most knew
her by Granny. No matter what name you knew her by,
everyone knew her to be inspiring. She inspired her
children to be strong adults, her grandchildren to dream
big, and she even inspired non-believers to clearly see
the Lord. So, do not let your heart fill with sorrow at
the loss of such an amazing woman; instead, her family
asks that you celebrate her life and all that she
inspired. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo
