ATLANTA, TEXAS-Aaron Henry, youth pastor at Cornerstone Assembly of GOD in Atlanta, TX and his family will be leaving the church to start a mission in Durban South Africa, Mr. Henry said.
“My wife and I prayed about this because we always had a heart for missions,”Aaron Henry said. “We know this is what we should do.
The Henry’s will be raising money for their 2-year term locally and in the Dallas area and will leave for South Africa in May 2017.
The Henry’s will be the part of a 10-member team starting the Christian church in a city of 3 1/2 million people who are mostly of the Muslim faith. Aaron Henry will head up the church’s youth ministry.
The Henry family will host a garage sale this Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. in the Cornerstone Assembly of God Parking lot to help fund their mission. They are also taking monetary donations; to donate you can contact Cornerstone Assembly of GOD in Atlanta @ 903-796-7543.
