KPYN hosts radio-a-thon benefiting hurricane Harvey victims in Texas

KPYN Radio in conjunction with the local owners of the Atlanta, Texas Sonic will be broadcasting live from the Sonic @ 301 Loop 59 in Atlanta, Texas Wednesday (August 30th) from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
KPYN will be collecting monetary donations for the American Red Cross at the live broadcast at Sonic on Wednesday.

All money raised at Wednesday’s broadcast benefits Harvey victims

The money and checks collected will go directly to the Hurricane victims in South Texas where record flooding has occurred after the land fall of Hurricane Harvey.

“KPYN is proud to partner with the American Red Cross in times of disaster,” Robert DelGiorno and Meghan DelGiorno, KPYN’s owners said. “The Red Cross has mobilized to support thousands affected by Hurricane Harvey. Your donation will ensure that the Red Cross is able to provide comfort and humanitarian relief to families who need help along the Gulf Coast. Please donate today,”

Robert DelGiorno said that KPYN and Sonic are asking that anyone who wants to help, make their checks out to the American Red Cross, with the memo on check stating, For Hurricane Harvey victims.

You can drop your donations off all day Wednesday 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Sonic on Loop 59 in Atlanta.
