ATLANTA — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) improvements will continue in Cass County on State Highway 77 from Farm-to-Market 251 to Farm-to-Market 1841 in Atlanta as part of a widening of the highway.
TxDOT will also continue its repair of the concrete pavement on Loop 151 fro U.S.-59 to the Arkansas state line, prompting various lane closures.
Also in Bowie County TxDOT will continue to construct a new bridge at the Red River north of De Kalb.
Here is a list of the remaining TxDOT construction sites in the area:
IH 20 Eastbound – From Gregg County Line to SH 43, repairing pavement. Various lane closures, expect delays.
US 59 – At Loop 390, reconstructing intersection for concrete pavement. Traffic restricted to one lane each direction.
US 59 – From FM 1186 to Panola County Line, replacing guardrail on bridges.
US 59 – At railroad overpass north of SH 49, repairing concrete approaches. Traffic restricted to one lane each direction.
US 59 – From SH 49 to Harrison County Line, repairing pavement. Various lane closures.
SH 43 – At Big Cypress Creek, replacing steel grating on bridge. All traffic restricted on one lane that will be controlled by traffic signal.
IH 30 – From Titus County Line to Bowie County Line, repairing pavement and installing new guard rails. Various lane closures.
SH 149 – at SH 315, constructing overpass and widening highway.
SH 155 – From south of Sabine River to US 80, replacing bridges and widening roadway.
